No, we have no designated parking spots for guests. At the reception you could purchase a parking ticket for 24 hours and use it to park on the side streets aroudn the hotel. Alternatively, you can park in a nearby public garage.
The way from Vienna International Airport to our hotel is rather simple. You can take the train to the station Praterstern. From there you’ll change to the underground line U2 and take it one station to Taborstrasse. The hotel is located a 2 minute walk from the station. The way with public transportation shouldn’t take more than 45 minutes.
No, we don’t have a shuttle service. We can gladly order a taxi for you at the reception. Just let us know if you need one.
We love pets! but unfortunately we can’t host them in our hotel. Pets aren’t allowed.
The hotel doesn’t have a restaurant. We do have an elegant bar in the lobby where you can enjoy drinks and finger food.
Yes! We have a courtyard where the bikes can be stored. It is closed and far from the street.
Yes. Every room has a kettel.
Yes. Every room has a hairdryer. You can find it in the bathroom.
No. There is no gym in the hotel. The nearest gym is around a 6 minute walk away.
Yes. You can ask for it at the reception.
Unfortunately not. We don’t offer such a service. You can go to a public laundry place instead. The nearest one is called Greenclean and it is located at Klosterneuburger Straße 91.
Relevant info for Kosher and Shabbat
Yes. All rooms are equiped with a lock which is suitable for shabbat. You can get a key at the reception for a deposit of 10 euros.
It is possible, but please coordinate it with the reception beforehand.
We do not have a shabbat elevator in the hotel. There are only 2 floors, so you could also go up and down quickly by foot. In case of need, the reception could help you with the elevator.
No, due to fire safety regulations we do not have warm plates. In any case, it is not allowed to use them in the rooms.
The breakfast is supervised by Rabbi Avi Biderman. He is the rabbi of Chabad house Vienna. We can send you a copy of the Kosher certificate if needed.
The breakfast is kosher Lamehadrin under the supervision of Chabad rabbi, rabbi Avi Biderman
Chabad house is located on the same street as the hotel. When you exist the hotel, turn right and cross the road. Walk along the street of Taborstrasse for about 5 minutes. You’ll then see a big sign saying “Chabad house”.
The main synagogue is located in the first district of Vienna which is the old town. From the hotel you can take tram number 2 and get off at the station called Schwedenplatz. This station is 5 minutes from the synagogue by foot. You can always ask at the reception for directions. We will gladly show you on the map, where the synagogue is located.
During shabbat you exit the hotel and turn right, then walk along the street Taborstrasse unti you reach the Danube canal. There you’ll see the station Schwedenplatz which is nearby the synagogue.
In the area of the hotel you can find quite a few kosher restaurants. For meat, try our Mea Shearim or Bachur Tov. For Pizza, go to Novelino or Rustico. If you want fish, check out the new restaurant called Malka.
For a light meal during the day, visit Veahavta, which is operating right at the entrance to Chabad House.
You can order a kosher meal for shabbat at the restaurant Alef Alef. This restaurant is adjacent to the main synagogue in the first district.
